The Joseph Michael Chubbuck Foundation has been selected as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program for September.
The Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program, which launched in April 2014, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
The Chubbuck Foundation was selected as the September 2020 beneficiary of the program, by store leadership at the Hannaford located in Rome.
The JMCF will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at the Rome store location during September.
“The JMCF is very happy to be selected by the Hannaford’s leadership,” Barb Chubbuck, vice-president of the JMCF said. “It is wonderful to see a local business supporting a local charity like ours. Which, in turn, supports local cancer patients in need.”
JM Chubbuck Foundation is a non-profit based in Rome. Founded in 2014, the cancer foundation has assisted more than 600 patients for approximately $230,000. Learn more about the Chubbuck Foundation at www.thejmcf.org.
