UTICA — One man was shot in the arm during a get-together at an apartment on Lenox Avenue in Utica late Saturday night, according to the Utica Police Department.

No arrests have been made so far.

Police said the male victim, in his 30s, was at a gathering at a residence in the 1100 block Lenox Ave. at about 10:50 p.m. Saturday when he was shot. Police said the injuries were not life-threatening.

"He was shot in the forearm," explained Lt. Michael Curley.

The victim was taken to the St. Elizabeth campus of the Mohawk Valley Health Center.

The investigation is ongoing, police said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Major Crimes Unit at 315-223-3556.
