SHERRILL — Gethsemane Episcopal Church, 320 Park St., will celebrate its centennial anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 25.

The celebration will begin with the Eucharist Service at 10 a.m., followed by planned activities such as reviewing the history of the church, lighting candles on the Centennial Cake, viewing displays of the church history and artifacts, a symbol search, opening a time capsule and creating a new time capsule for future congregates.

All events will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The community may attend all or parts of the celebration.
