Inside the Parkway Center on Saturday, November 5 was a "
"missing man table," also known as a fallen comrade table. This symbolic gesture is in honor of fallen, missing, or imprisoned military service members. Each item on the table holds a special meaning.

Live music filled the Parkway Center in Utica on Saturday, November 5, 2022, as guests waited for the veteran-recognition ceremony hosted by The Good News Center to begin.
UTICA — This year, a special tribute to Vietnam veterans was made in Utica during The Good News Center’s recognition ceremony at the Parkway Center on Saturday, November 5. This year is the 40th anniversary of the Vietnam Memorial and the 50th anniversary of troops leaving South Vietnam.
Veterans from all branches of the military including the Coast Guard, Marines, Navy, Army, and Air Force received numerous rounds of applause throughout the ceremony.
While special tribute was paid to Vietnam veterans, all veterans were also honored during the ceremony.
The ceremony was followed by a candlelit blessing across the street in the Healing Field of flags on the Memorial Parkway.
