STITTVILLE — The Mierek Family will host the inaugural Cornhole Tournament and Chicken BBQ on Sunday, Aug. 21, next to Priscilla’s Restaurant at 8583 Route 365.

Registration for the corn hole tournament begins at 9 a.m., with play to begin at 11:10 a.m.

Cost is $25 per person to participate, and there will be a blind draw for partners. Cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place.

There will also be a 50/50 raffle, basket raffle and bake sale. Non-alcoholic drinks will be available, and the chicken barbecue — which begins at noon — is available for takeout.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Foothills Building Campaign.
