STEUBEN — Four people were injured when an Amish buggy rolled over at the intersection of North Steuben and Lewis roads Sunday morning.
Westernville fire officials said they were notified of the accident at 7:23 a.m. with 15 firefighters responding to the scene, along with Rescue 1, Rescue 2 and Engine 2 rigs.
Firefighters said the horse-drawn carriage was carrying 10 occupants total — two adults and eight children. Star and Boonville ambulance services transported the four injured to local hospitals, Westernville Fire officials said. A response by Kuyahoora Ambulance was canceled en-route.
Units were back in service by 8:34 a.m. State police assisted.
