Foothills food pantry announces November hours

Posted

HOLLAND PATENT — The Foothills Rural Community Ministry Food Pantry will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 4-6 p.m.

It will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays, Nov. 7, 14 and 21. The pantry will have no Thursday hours in November because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Clients are asked to arrive 15 minutes before closing time so the pantry can close on time. The Food Pantry is located at the Holland Patent Presbyterian Church across the street from the village park on the corner of Route 365 and Church Street. After a short consultation with a volunteer, the groceries will be brought to the cars. This is to keep all involved healthy and safe.

The Country Corner Thrift Shop will be open at the same time as the food pantry on the open Saturdays. Face masks must be worn at the thrift shop, and a limited number of shoppers are allowed in the shop at one time. The shop is fully stocked with clothes for the whole family and for several occasions. There are also household items, jewelry, and craft supplies. Food $en$e orders can be made on Nov. 7. The orders will be ready for pick-up on Nov. 27 and 28.
