First Source hygiene drive benefits United Way effort for area agencies

First Source Federal Credit Union and its employees are coming to the aid of several local service organizations as part of this year’s United Way Emerging Leaders Hygiene Drive.

First Source donated a host of items for distribution to the Salvation Army Rome Food Pantry, Hope House Soup Kitchen, Foothills Ministry Food Pantry and the Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency Homeless Intervention Program.

“Our employees are usually very generous,” said Pamela Way, First Source Community Relations Specialist. “And this year was no exception. Just over 500 items such as toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, shampoo, etc., valued at almost $900 were donated.”

First Source Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution, serving members and our community since 1938. It has branches in New Hartford, South Utica, North Utica, Herkimer, and Rome, plus a Member Care Center.
