Felony amount of drugs seized in Rome traffic stop
ROME — A felony amount of methamphetamine was seized during a traffic stop on Turin Street very early Tuesday morning, according to the Rome Police Department.
Police said Tiffany L. Morey, 32, of Durhamville, was pulled over for a traffic violation around 2:18 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of Turin Street. Police said Morey was found with 167 grams of meth, her driver's license was suspended and she was wanted on a warrant out of Rome City Court.
Morey is charged with one count of second-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class A-2 felony, as well as several vehicle and traffic violations, police stated. She is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
