Fusion Art Gallery, in The Photo Shoppe, 8584 Turin Road, will host an opening reception for the August gallery show entitled “Faux and Fabulous” featuring vintage costume jewelry from the collection of Ann Walseman Campbell.

The exhibit features vintage costume pieces from Schreiner, Miriam Haskell, Juliana, Trifari, Hattie Carnegie, Joseff of Hollywood, Kenneth Jay Lane, Kramer and Eisenberg.  Most of the jewelry is available for purchase.

An opening reception will be held Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. It is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

Campbell will give a free lecture on Aug. 11 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. discussing an introduction to vintage costume jewelry and various designers. Space is limited and reservations are required by calling 315-338-5712.

Campbell’s passion for vintage costume jewelry began with buying a few pieces at a garage sale. Her pursuit of the history and fashion evolution of the pieces facilitated her expertise and collection growth.

The show runs from through Aug. 27.  The Photo Shoppe is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For information or lecture reservations call The Photo Shoppe at 315-338-5712.
