Several emergency crews from Herkimer and Oneida counties responded to a grass/tree fire that engulfed a large wooded area off Dover Road in the Village of Poland Thursday, Nov. 10. No information could be learned on the cause as of the time of this report. Responding departments from Oneida County included New London, North Bay, Sylvan Beach and Vienna fire departments who began their responses at 3:21 p.m.
