ROME — A Rome man is accused of fighting with a woman in the parking lot of Skate-A-While Longer on Ridge Street, according to the Rome Police Department.

Police said Jeremie A. Basham, 42, of Rome, was involved in a dispute with a woman at the skating rink around 9:44 p.m. Friday. Police said Basham fought with the woman and dragged her in the parking lot.

Basham is charged with one count each of second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing, police stated. He is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
