Oneida County Democrats are seeking a candidate to run for the Oneida County Clerk seat being vacated by the current county clerk, Sandra DePerno, who is retiring.

“With the announcement that Democrat Sandy DePerno will not be seeking a fourth term as Oneida County Clerk, the Oneida County Democratic Committee is seeking candidates to run for that position,” reads a Friday statement.

Interested candidates should email their resume along with a letter of interest by February 1 to the Oneida County Democratic committee at: nyoneidacodems@gmail.com

So far, county residents John Zielinski has said he is running to secure the Republican and Conservative endorsements, and David Gordon is running as a Republican.
