The Treasurer’s Office is reminding Rome taxpayers that Friday, Feb. 26, is the last business day to pay the 2021 Oneida County tax. Payments that are postmarked by Sunday, Feb. 28, or which are dropped in the night depository on the north side of City Hall before 8:30 a.m. on Monday, March 1, will be accepted without penalty.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Rome City Hall is closed to the public, however, people can call the Treasurer’s tax collection office at 315-339-7690 for questions. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. weekdays.
