Cousin accused of harassment for shoving teen-age relative, police say

A 21-year-old woman has been charged with shoving her teenage cousin during an argument on North Jay Street, according to law enforcement officials.

Police said Trinity A. Tharrett, of East Thomas Street, was in a domestic dispute with her 16-year-old cousin at about midnight on June 13.

Police said Tharrett shoved her cousin into a wall during the fight.

The case was turned over to City Court and a criminal summons was issued against Tharrett. Police said Tharrett answered the summons on Tuesday on one count each of second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

She is scheduled to reappear in court, according to the law enforcers.
