ROME — The First United Methodist Church, 400 N. George St., will host a Community Advent Celebration from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10. “The event is free and open to community members of all ages and families of all shapes and sizes,” the announcement said.

“Join us in crafts, games, and songs, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. This event will conclude with a free spaghetti dinner for all who attend. So gather your family, friends, and neighbors, or simply bring yourself, and join us for a fun filled evening,” organizers added.
