Cocaine, heroin seized in Whitesboro traffic stop
WHITESBORO — Quantities of cocaine and heroin were found during a traffic stop on West Street in Whitesboro Saturday night, according to the Whitesboro Police Department.
Police said Mark Redding, 61, of New Hartford, was pulled over on West Street around 7:30 p.m. for driving on a suspended license and expired inspection. Once stopped, police said quantities of cocaine and heroin were found inside the vehicle.
Both Redding and passenger Katie M. Fournier, 32, of Oriskany, were charged with one count each of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance, police said. They were both issued appearance tickets to Whitesboro Village Court.
Police said Redding was also taken into custody and turned over to the New Hartford Police Department for an active arrest warrant.
