Clinton girls hockey team finishes regular season with win
CANTON — The Clinton girls ice hockey team wrapped up the regular season with a 6-1 win at Canton Friday in non-league play.
The Warriors, who won the Section III regular season title, got two goals and three assists from senior Drew Kopek. Those goals made her the program leader for goals in a season with 15.
Kate Elbrecht and Mackinley Ronan each had a goal and an assist. Abigail Dicks and Lauren Rey also scored while Alyssa Nardslico had two assists. Kelsey Fuller, Gretchen Grimm and Addison Tyksinski had one helper each.
Casey Clausen had 16 saves in the win.
Statistics for Canton were not submitted.
Clinton (10-4) will take on the winner of Thursday’s Section III semifinal between two seed Skaneateles and three seed Oswego. The finals will be at 7 p.m. on Feb. 8 in Nedrow.
