City plans budget session, public hearing Wednesday prior to Common Council meeting


Wednesday, Nov. 11 will be a busy day for city business.

• At 5:30 p.m., city officials will conduct a budget proposal review with the Community & Economic Development department, and at 6 p.m. the city treasurer’s office will undergo its review for 2021 budget needs, officials said.

• At 6:30 p.m., there will be a public hearing on the proposed city budget for 2021.

On the agenda for a 7 p.m. common council meeting are a few resolutions that if approved would allow the city to place “no parking- drop off zone” signs at 613 and 615 North Madison St; as well as measures that would approve the sale of city-owned parcels and 109 Lawrence St and 113 Lawrence St. to buyers for $1,000 each.
