City Board of Estimate and Contract to meet Thursday

A resolution up for consideration at an upcoming city Board of Estimate and Contract meeting would move forward a bid process for an asbestos abatement project.

Per the resolution, the bids would be opened on October 15.

Elsewhere on the agenda, the city will consider entering into an agreement with the Oneida County Homeownership Center to provide mortgage relief services for at risk homeowners.

The funding would not exceed $10,100, and would go toward the creation of an outreach plan to reach homeowners who mortgage is delinquent and find ways to get them back on track.

Those wishing to make a public comment during the meeting should do so in writing by emailing jgrande@romecitygov.com no later than 24 hours prior to the meeting. All comments received will be read into the record during the public comment portion of the meeting.
