-Anjolen Inc., a cybersecurity company located at 287 Genesee St., Utica, has 25 employees. Anjolen is celebrating its 10 year anniversary in March. Anjolen provides clients with expertise in cybersecurity, cybersecurity compliance, and cyber forensics services. Its clients stretch over many verticals including the financial, health care, manufacturing, education, government, and not-for-profit sectors.

- Bonacio Construction, Inc. has been in business for 35 years and is privately owned and operated. - Capitol Theatre, 222 W. Dominick St., Rome, is celebrating 95 years in 2023. The theater, a non-profit organization with operations overseen by the Capitol Civic Center board of trustees, opened on Monday, Dec. 10, 1928. The theater will be hosting a series of history-related events throughout the year, cumulating with the 95th anniversary show on Sunday, Dec. 10. Since 2014 the theater has also operated a two-screen multiplex in the building next door, showing current-run independent movies.

- Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL), 131 Genesee St., Utica,an independent living center, which means it provide resources to help people with disabilities live independent lives through peer support, advocacy, training, and other services provided in a peer-to-peer delivery mode, is celebrating 40 years in business. At RCIL, services are tailored to the individual, and it offers real solutions to social, personal, and governmental barriers. - Rome Cemetery on Jervis Avenue was dedicated on Aug. 7, 1853 — 170 years of serving as the final resting place of many of Rome’s citizens, including soldiers from the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, World War I, World War IIW1, WW2, Korean War, and Vietnam. In addition, Francis Bellamy, author of the Pledge of Allegiance and his family are buried at Rome Cemetery. In 2022 Rome Cemetery was named to the National Registry of Historic Places.
