Rome Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Ransomware Readiness Lunch & Learn seminar from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the chamber offices, 139 W. Dominick St.
The free event is being offered in-person and also online. Sponsored by Anjolen, lunch will be included for in-person attendees.
The workshop will cover how to become prepared for a possible ransomware threat. Attendees will learn more about ransomware attacks and how to proactively mitigate the risk to their organization. Benefits of Ransomware Readiness:
• A proactive approach helps to mitigate the risk of a ransomware attack and helps decrease the impact to your business.
• There are no guarantees that paying a ransom will result in the safe return of your information.
• Being unprepared is expensive and can result in lost productivity and negative public relations.
Space is limited for the workshop. To register, go to www.anjolen.com/workshop-registration.
