Camden UMC hosts Christmas Bazaar
CAMDEN — The annual Camden United Methodist Church Christmas Bazaar, sponsored by the Ladies’ Fellowship, will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19.
The church is located at 132 Main St. Ample parking is available at the rear of the church at the Railroad Street entrance. Admission is free. Several new crafters and vendors will be displaying their wares at the bazaar, along with favorites from past years. Some of the items for sale will include handmade quilts, honey, hand-crafted signs, maple syrup, blankets, pet items, wood crafts, greeting cards, and handmade jewelry.
There will also be a big bake sale offering homemade cookies, breads, pies, cakes, candies and other treats. And at the Corner Cafe, there will be homemade soups, stew, and chilis to eat in, or take out. For dessert, there will be Stewart’s ice cream sundaes available for $1 each.
Raffle tickets for a chance to win one of two hand-crocheted afghans, donated by Connie Bellinger and Terry Bailey, will also be available for purchase. All proceeds from the Christmas Bazaar will be used to support the church and community.
