Camden board of ed reorganization meeting Tuesday
CAMDEN — The reorganization meeting of the Camden Central School District board of education will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, at the Tuthill Learning Commons in the high school, 55 Oswego St.
The meeting will include the election of a board president and vice president and the appointment of the district clerk as well as the oath of office for board members elected in May, including Stewart Hatzinger, elected to serve a three-year term; Jared Perham, elected to serve a three-year term; and Misty Portner, elected to complete a one-year term.
The meeting will also include an appointment of board members to various committees, such as the Oneida-Madison-Herkimer School Board Institute Executive Committee Member and an alternate as well as to board committees, including the Facilities Committee, Internal Audit Committee, Policy Committee, Legislative Liaison, Board Retreat Committee, and the District-Wide School Safety Team.
Resolutions before board members also include a host of annual yearly appointments and designations, such as district treasurer, deputy treasurer, school tax collector and other district posts.
