Bright Nights at the Utica Zoo canceled

UTICA — Due to inclement weather predicted for Friday, Dec.16, Bright Nights at the Utica Zoo will be canceled, according to a release.
The zoo will be open for normal business hours on Friday from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., but will not host the event.
Bright Nights will resume at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17.
Further, on Saturday, Dec. 17 only - Kookie's Q will be serving beer, wine, hot cocoa and a limited food menu.
Amos Donnell will be performing live, as well as The Happy Haggs Dance Troupe of Central New York.
“And as always, join us for a nightly reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, and don't forget to tell Santa what's on your wish list! This is an adult and kid-friendly event!,” a release continues.
