ROME — A 36-year-old woman is accused of knocking down a Rome man with her car on East Dominick Street, according to the Rome Police Department.

Police said the victim spotted Nancy L. Dole, of Blossvale, driving his girlfriend to his residence on East Dominick Street at about 10:45 p.m. Nov. 1. Police said the victim confronted them and stood in front of the vehicle, at which point Dole drove forward and knocked him over with her vehicle.

Dole then drove off, police stated. The victim suffered some cuts and bruises and declined medical treatment, police noted. A warrant was issued for Dole and she was taken into custody on Friday.

Dole is charged with one count each of second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree harassment, police stated. She is scheduled to appear in Rome City Court.
