VERONA — A Blessing of the Animals will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church on Sunday, Sept. 25, at 2:30 p.m., weather permitting. The brief service will be held outdoors in the parking lot and lawn of the church.

All animals and their humans are welcome. Owners should take appropriate measures to keep their animals safe and calm, including leashes, carriers, crates or trailers when appropriate, and clean up after them. Humans attending are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs for seating. If your animal does not travel well, you may bring a photograph for blessing.

The Humane Society of Rome will be present as a community partner. Attendees are invited to bring an offering of pet supplies.
