UTICA — Adirondack Bank has announced that Douglas Bartell has joined its commercial lending team as its vice president commercial banking officer. He will serve the Mohawk Valley region with a concentration on the Rome market.
Bartell brings 11 years of commercial banking experience to the position and served as vice president and senior business banking officer at Oneida Savings Bank.
President and CEO Rocco F. Arcuri, Sr., welcomed Bartell to the Adirondack Bank commercial lending team on behalf of the board of directors, senior management team, and the entire staff.
“His familiarity with the Rome market and the Mohawk Valley, in conjunction with his business banking experience, will be a tremendous asset in his new position,” Arcuri said.
Bartell is president of Teugega Country Club; treasurer, Rome Cemetery Association; and Audit Committee chair of the Rome Community Foundation and has served as board member and past president, Jervis Library; chairman and past president, Rome Chamber of Commerce; board member and past chairman, Griffiss Utility Services Corp.; and treasurer of Griffiss Local Development Corporation among others. Bartell also had a position as vice president of Mohawk Valley EDGE.
