Area residents to receive degrees at SUNY Potsdam

POTSDAM — The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize the Class of 2022 during the College’s 202nd Commencement Ceremony, including several local residents who will receive their degrees during the ceremony.

The local candidates for graduation include:

Madison Bray-Trophia, of Rome, bachelor’s degree, arts management;

Jolene Carpenter, of Boonville, NY, master’s degree with distinction, childhood education;

Brianna Colon, of Rome, bachelor’s degree, history and middle/secondary social studies education;

John Conway, of Clinton, bachelor’s degree, history;

Maryanne Dobreski, of Holland Patent, bachelor’s degree with honors in childhood/early childhood education;

Destin Doherty, of Marcy, bachelor’s degree with honors, English and creative writing;

Taylor Eastlund, of Boonville, bachelor’s degree, history;

Elizabeth Eastman, of Deansboro, bachelor’s degree with honors, childhood/early childhood education;

Amanda Gwilt, of Waterville, bachelor’s degree with honors, English, writing and childhood/early childhood education;

Cullen Harrington, of Blossvale, bachelor’s degree, art studio;

Danielle Hughes, of Whitesboro, bachelor’s degree with honors, music/music education;

Jessica Locke, of New Hartford, bachelor’s degree with honors, arts management;

Rebecca Matte, of Rome, bachelor’s degree with honors, music education, music performance and French;

Stevissa Nellenback, of West Leyden, bachelor’s degree with honors, mathematics and middle/secondary mathematics education;
