Arc Herkimer hosts summer concert series

HERKIMER — Arc Herkimer will host four free community concerts as part of its Music in Arc Park program, which begins tonight with a performance at 6 p.m. by Last Left at Arc Park, 420 E. German St.

“One of Arc Herkimer’s central missions is to build community by creating exciting, inclusive events,” said Jackie Lewis, executive office and special events manager. “Music in Arc Park is a way to bring people together, while providing enriching experiences to our people supported.”

The Arc Herkimer concession stand will be open, serving hot dogs, snacks, and refreshments. Adult beverages will be available for purchase by Stoney’s Tavern.

Community members are encouraged to bring along a lawn chair. The park also includes plenty of free parking, accessible restrooms, and a playground area for youth to enjoy, the program announcement added.

In addition to tonight’s show, other performances scheduled include:

  • Wednesday, July 20, 6 p.m. — Fritz’s Polka Band;
  • Wednesday, July 27, 6 p.m. — Max Scialdone Band; and
  • Wednesday, Aug. 3, 6 p.m. — Scot Raymond.
