Arc Herkimer bus driver accused of touching client
GERMAN FLATTS — A former bus driver for Arc Herkimer is accused of sexually abusing an adult client on the bus, according to the New York State Police.
Troopers said Michael P. Faubert, 36, of Frankfort, forcibly touched the intimate parts of a 29-year-old female client who was riding the Arc bus. The authorities were notified in February, leading to an investigation. Faubert was taken into custody on Wednesday.
Faubert is charged with four counts each of endangering the welfare of an incompetent person, a class E felony, and forcible touching, a misdemeanor, troopers said. He was arraigned in court and was sent to the Herkimer County jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond. He is scheduled to reappear in German Flatts Town Court on March 21.
