Annual Book Sale returns to Jervis on Wednesday

The book sale at Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., will be back, after a one-year hiatus because of COVID-19 concerts in 2020. Library officials announced the return of the Annual Book Sale on Wednesday, Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The book sale will be held in the library parking lot and inside the library in the Dillon Periodical Room and on the fourth floor.

There will be an abundance of non-fiction, fiction, and mysteries for adults and teens as well as a selection of books for children, according to the announcement by Jervis officials.  In addition, there will be other surplus items for sale including games, puzzles, DVDs, and music on CD.

Items are priced to sell with all surplus library materials (books, DVDs, CDs) no more than $1 each. Patrons attending the indoor portion of the book sale are asked to mask regardless of vaccination status.
