ALERT: Snow emergency declared in Utica

UTICA — The City of Utica has declared a snow emergency effective at 10 p.m. tonight, Thursday, Dec. 15.
 
The emergency has been declared ahead of the expected snowstorm, officials said. All vehicles must be removed from city streets without exception by 10 p.m., to allow safe and clear passaged for city snowplows.
 
Any vehicles left on city streets after 10 p.m. will be subject to tickets and towing at the owner's expense. The snow emergency declaration will remain in effect until further notice.
