AIS to offer virtual education lecture on cybersecurity

Posted

Assured Information Security and the Griffiss Institute will hold a virtual educational lecture at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 28 titled, “Fissure RF Framework” and will cover the modular and extensible software designed to greatly speed the identification of vulnerabilities in radio frequency (RF) protocols, waveforms and devices.

This is the second lecture scheduled in a series hosted by the GI with presentations conducted by AIS engineers and scientists who are working on cutting-edge research and development projects. AIS employee Eric Thayer, group lead for the Systems Analysis and Exploitation Group, will present alongside Chris Poore, senior computer engineer for SAE at AIS.

“We look forward to sharing the extensive research and developments we’ve done with the Fissure RF Framework,” said Thayer. “This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to further their knowledge in the identification of vulnerabilities.”

The presentation is open to the public and is ideal for those who are working or studying within the field of cyber and information security. For more information and to register for the event, visit: www.griffissinstitute.org/gi-lecture-education-series.
