LOWVILLE — A 67-year-old man was found dead in Mill Creek in Lewis County after being reported missing, according to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Authorities said the victim had been reported missing at the end of February. The Lowville Police Department began the search and requested the aid of forest rangers on the morning of March 2.

At 2:45 p.m. March 2, authorities said a tree crew working near Mill Creek spotted the body in the water.
