Wedding Announcement:
List full names, not nicknames, and use middle names or initials. The wedding announcement will be printed after the ceremony, not before. There is no charge for wedding announcements. Wedding must have taken place within one year of submitting announcement to be printed.
Parents, brothers and sisters, sons and daughters in the wedding party will be identified in the announcement, but not cousins, aunts or uncles. Distant relatives will only be identified if they are standing in the place of a parent or that relative is an ordained clergy person assisting or officiating at the ceremony.
Publishing of announcements is a free service provided to those who reside, or have relatives who reside, within the Daily Sentinel's circulation area.
The Daily Sentinel cannot publish an announcement without street addresses for the local parents (or couple if parents are deceased). No street number is required. The ONLY exception to this is for those with immediate family members who are either police, corrections officers or work for the prison, in which case we will publish the town or city of residence only.
Announcements will appear in print as well as on Romesentinel.com.
