Aug. 11, the 58th annual reunion of the descendents of Robert and Ellin Arthur, who immigrated from Wales, took place at the Old Arthur Homestead, on Old Stage Road in Remsen.

There were 53 people in attendance. The eldest was James D. Arthur Sr. DDS (91), and the youngest was Joseph McChesney (4).

The newly elected officers are President Peter Arthur, Secretary Debbie Arthur, and Treasurer Janet Arthur Martin. Joan and Dennis Haskins travelled the farthest from Tennessee.
