ROME — Frances B. Perrigo Fields, 87, of Rome, New York passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, August 10, 2012.
Mrs. Fields was born on December 12, 1924 in Amboy, New York. She was the daughter of the late Adelbert W. Perrigo and Margaret J. O’Brien Perrigo.
Surviving are her daughter, Donna Aley (Jerry) of Earlville, New York; her son, David W. Fields (Heidi) of Hartsville, SC; her grandchildren, William D. Fields of Orlando, Florida; Gregory J. Fields of Rome, New York; Jerry Aley, Jr. (Tracy) of Florence, SC; Laura Collins (Timothy) of Earlville, New York; Holly Tucker (Phillip) of Earlville, New York; Dennis J. Fields, Jr. (Mary) of Clockville, New York; and Dawna Forward (Glenn) of Peterboro, New York; her step-grandchildren; Meghan Davis of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; and Brittany King of Wellborn, Florida; 9 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter; her brother, Daniel Perrigo of Melbourne, Florida; and her sisters, Dorothy King of Williamstown, New York; and Theresa Muscarella of Rome, New York; a special friend, Lyn Patrick of Nuwnana, GA; and nieces and nephews.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis R. Fields; her daughter, Patricia M. Fields; her son, Dennis J. "Skip" Fields, Sr.; her grandson, David W. Fields, Jr.; her great grandson, Dennis J. Fields, III; and by 9 brothers and sisters.
There will be no public viewing or service held.
