SUNY Oswego awarded merit scholarships to more than 600 incoming students, including $17,600 presidential scholarships to local residents.

They are: Robert Harney, of Woodcreek Road, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School;

Sharon St. Louis, of Beaver Meadow Road, Vernon, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School;

Katherine Hartman, of Mitchell Road, Verona, Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School; and

Emily McDonald, of North Street, Oriskany, Oriskany High School.
