Items should be submitted by midweek for that Saturday’s paper. If there is a weekend event where Saturday publication would be too short of notice, have the item at the Sentinel in time for publication a week before the event.

Remember to refer to the pastor as "the Rev." if he or she is ordained. Use proper names

with middle initials.
