Jacqueline Marie, formerly of Rome, died suddenly on July 3, 2012 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jackie was born in Rome, a daughter of Donald and Geraldine Lemon Smith, and graduated from Rome Free Academy. She loved spending time with her family, and her longtime companion, Fred Santos. Jackie was an ardent Yankees and Phillies fan, a talented cook, and an animal lover who was devoted to her dogs, Buddy and Pal.
Jackie is survived by her sisters, Christine (Gregory) Torre, Patricia (Tom) Bates, Anne (Jack) Stocum, Judy (Gary) Baron and Ci (Brian) Hoehn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, Sarah, Joseph and Rebecca Torre; Richard Luke (Jennifer) Schaub, Kaitlin and Kimberly Bates; Eileen and David Stocum; Sean (Jamie), Daniel and Jacob Baron; Eric and Luke Hoehn; and grandniece Avery Caroline Schaub. She was predeceased by her parents Donald and Geraldine Smith, and brother, Neil Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus & Casimir Cemetery, Woods Rd, Whitesboro, NY.
Relatives and friends may call at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
