ONEIDA — An employee at Lowe’s was charged with stealing cash from the home improvements store.

Travis D. Shaler, 22, of Route 49, North Bay, stole about $400 from the cash register over a period of time, Oneida Police said. Shaler was charged with petty larceny, a class A misdemeanor. He will appear in City Court June 29.
