Area members of the New York Army National Guard were recently promoted.

They are: John Hale, of Camden, serving with the 107th Military Police Company, was promoted to the rank of specialist; and Rudolph Closs, of Camden, serving with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2-108th Infantry, was promoted to the rank of sergeant.
