National touring band "Disciple" from Knoxville, Tenn., heads the musical lineup with six other musical performers - "Everyday Sunday" from Columbus, Ohio, female-fronted hard rock band "Silversyde" from upstate New York, Derek Levendusky and "Isaiah Six" from Avon, alternative rock band "The Awakening" from Cheshire, Conn., recording artist Gracie Levendusky, and hip-hop/rap artist Nate Feuerstein from Michigan.
The event’s guest speaker will be Jimmy Foster who has local roots in Salisbury. There will also be food vendors set up around the site.
Pierce, who started the music festival four years ago with Pastor Jim McMillian, hopes to bring youth and adults alike to the nine-hour concert that offers Christian entertainment. He said, "Reign Fest was created out of the idea of giving youth the chance to have an encounter with the Lord that they may not otherwise have had. It was planned to be a few small local groups performing for a couple of hours and it turned into ‘Why not have a touring group come in and headline this event?’ which in turn turned into an all day and evening affair."
Now, some of the best national touring groups of the Christian music industry are playing alongside local bands for what has turned into an annual event.
