McCONNELLSVILLE — On Monday, June 4, the McConnellsville Garden Club will tour Tug Hill Winery, 4051 Yancey Road (just off Route 12), Lowville.

The group will meet at 9:45 a.m. in the parking lot across from Camden’s Church Street fire station for carpooling.

Rise Messmer, Chris Morgan and Mary Schroyer are hostesses.

The vineyard and winery were founded in 2007 by Sue and Mike Maring. They planted 10 varieties of cold-hardy hybrid grapes and raspberries on more than 18 acres of land.

Lunch will be served in the winery’s restaurant overlooking the valley.
