CROGHAN — A Lewis County woman is charged with attacking law enforcers after taking synthetic cocaine.
Deputies said Amanda R. Chambers, 25, of Chase Lake Road, Watson, ingested the synthetic cocaine in powder form Saturday night on Mechanic Street. Deputies responded to take her into custody for a mental hygiene evaluation, which is when authorities said Chambers attacked.
Chambers slapped one deputy in the face and kicked another in the leg, authorities stated. She was subdued with pepper spray and taken to the county hospital for a medical examination.
Then on Thursday, deputies said Chambers was charged with second-degree harassment, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was released on an appearance ticket for court.
