E-Z Pass Walk-In Centers in Syracuse, Albany and Grand Island will go out of service on Friday, June 8, state Thruway Authority officials announced.

Closing the three locations will result in a $1 million annual savings.

Customers can access their accounts online at e-zpassNY.com or call 1-800-333-8655 to request new tags, make credit card payments, view statement activity and update their personal information. Customers who wish to get an E-ZPass tag immediately can go to an "On-the-Go" retail locations. To find an "On-the-Go" location, go to http://www.thruway.ny.gov/ezpass/otg/index.html. The Thruway Authority is also exploring alternative methods for customers who desire to make cash payments at retail locations in the future.

The street addresses of the three locations to close are as follows: Lakeshore Drive-in Plaza, 911 Old Liverpool Road, Syracuse; 4 Executive Park Drive, Albany; and 2293 Grand Island Blvd., Grand Island.
