TOWN OF WEST TURIN — A Lewis County man is accused of hitting two people with his car on Cherry Street.

Sheriff’s deputies said Philip R. Reiter, 26, of 6349 East Main St., Turin, drove across the lawn on Cherry Street at 1:50 a.m. May 11 and struck two males. Neither was injured.

Deputies said Reiter was taken into custody Monday on two counts of reckless endangerment and one count of third-degree mischief. He was released on an appearance ticket to Town Court.
