Gloria G. Miller, 81, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Rome Memorial Hospital. She was born in Niles, NY on March 4, 1931, the daughter of Otis and Hazel Morris Hundley. On May 20, 1950, she was married to John A. Miller, in Auburn NY, a union of over 60 years until John’s passing in 2011.
Gloria was a member of the Jehovah Witness, North Rome Congregation, and enjoyed sharing her faith with others. She was an accomplished artist in china painting. Having her own kiln, Gloria could paint tea sets, plates, or other china pieces and present her finished works to family and friends. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, John Erich and Vickie Miller of Rome; and one grandson, Devon of Rome. Gloria was predeceased by her husband John; brother, Lloyd; and sister, Marlene.
Memorial services will be held at Kingdom Hall on Potter Rd. on Sunday, at 4:30 p.m. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
