CAMDEN — Orda A. Hayes, 86, of 8 Masonic Avenue, passed away at her home May 6, 2012. She was born, November 28, 1925, a daughter of George Otis and Celia Baker Twiss in Redfield, NY. On June 30, 1948, she was united in marriage to Leland L. Hayes, in Redfield, NY. Leland passed away June 5, 1971.

Orda is survived by daughters, Judy Hayes, Camden, Sharon Comstock, Damascus, MD; son, Michael and Diane Hayes, Camden; daughter-in-law, Carol Smolenski Hayes; son-in-law, James Britton, Camden; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; sister, Wanda Twiss, Watertown, NY; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by husband, Leland; daughter, Laurie Britton; son, Danny "Jovial" Hayes; and a sister Regina Gibbs.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at the LaRobardiere funeral Home, Inc. Calling hours Thursday, 4-7 p.m. prior to memorial service, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY.
